Frequently Asked Questions about Wallets and Transactions
How to create a wallet?
Open the app and tap the "+" icon at the top. A form will open where you can add wallet name, type (Bank Account, Cash, Card, etc.), initial balance, and currency. Fill in the details and save to create your wallet.
Adding and Editing Transactions
Add transactions as Income, Expense, or Transfer from the home page. Expense is spending on a category, Income is money received, and Transfer moves money between wallets. To edit, hold (long press) a transaction to open the edit modal where you can modify amount, category, date, description, and wallet.
Managing Multiple Wallets
You can create as many wallets as needed. All wallets are displayed in one place, making it easy to track balances, transfer money between wallets, and get a comprehensive view of your finances across personal expenses, business accounts, savings, or different currencies.
Understanding Transaction Types
Income: money coming into wallets (salary, gifts, revenue). Expense: money going out for purchases and bills. Transfer: moving money between your own wallets without affecting your overall balance.
Setting Initial Wallet Balance
When creating a wallet, enter the current balance if you're starting with an existing account. For new accounts, set it to zero. The balance appears immediately and adjusts with subsequent transactions.
Organizing Wallets by Type
Categorize wallets by type (Bank Account, Cash, Credit Card, Savings, etc.). Each type can have its own color and icon. View all wallets together or filter by type to understand your financial distribution.
